CEA in
Bopal Ahmedabad

Carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) is the acronym for carcinoembryonic antigen. It's a protein discovered in a developing baby's tissues. After birth, CEA levels usually drop to zero or disappear entirely. CEA should be present in the body of healthy people in extremely little amounts, if at all. This test determines how much CEA is present in the blood and other bodily fluids. A form of tumour marker is CEA. Malignancy cells and normal cells both produce tumour markers in response to cancer in the body.
